“Let’s go around the mall.” said George suddenly, after closing the book full of notes given by Michelle. He stood up and grabbed his cup to empty it before grabbing Malee by the hands towards the door. Michelle stood up once the door opened, but George signalled her to sit down again.
“I will be going around the mall. If anyone called, just ask them to leave a note.” said George. Michelle nodded. She went to the lift and pressed the button for the lift’s doors to open and waited for George and Malee to be in the lift before releasing the button. After a short side, they found themselves at the highest floor of the mall, beside the cinema as evidenced by the smell of popcorn and hot dog in the air. George looked around and took the nearest escalator to the lower floor.
“Nothing much to do about the cinema. Let’s look around the shops.” said George. Malee nodded. She came here once before, but not the higher floors and left the place with Michael as soon as she had bought the dress. Now that she was with George and was free to look around, the mall seemed much bigger than she remembered. It was still very crowded, mostly by the youngsters, but she could see old people occasionally as well.
