How does one perform the deed of murder? From the uncountable volumes of crime books over the past century alone , the answer is that various but not infinite as one would expect. The motives ranged from plain old jealousy to revenge. But the methods comes in specific forms.

Most popular method in popular fictions is by poison and it is easy to see why. Either of the sexes could perform the deed. Need not have strength nor ability to do so. Rat poison could be found in any local pharmacy store and excuse for it easily given. Most importantly , it requires planning and intelligence and points to revenge.

The next method must be by sharp objects such as knife. It is also another favorite due to the fact that even a relatively frail hard can deliver death if directed to critical parts of the body. And knives can be found almost anywhere in most of the homes. From the kitchen to the decorations in the living room to family heirlooms , it is not hard to find them. And they are easy to conceal in a very small places also factor in their favor.

Following the knives , the next method must be by blunt objects such as bricks , hammers or even decorative objects. The main difference is that they demands more strength from the doer than the sharp objects. Normally , the act is carried out by blow to the head , often repeatedly in a fit of anger , and surely result in death.

These are the major methods one can usually find in popular fiction but occasionally , there are other lesser known methods of murder as well. Out of which , death by hanging must be a popular choice. And of course , by various curses or by superstition.
