In Tohou valley , there are 2 rival villages. They are located at the opposite sides of the Tohou river connected only by a bridge. The area being entirely surrounded by steep mountains from all corners meant that both villages were totally cut-off from the outside world for most of the times. Only on rare occassions , they would received outsiders who had traveled from the other side of the mountain range.
Such enclosed location meant that for most of the villagers , the only other place that had been to was the other village. Yes strangely , each of the village spoke a different dialect from the common language. It was also said that each of them were founded by 2 brothers who were lost in the mountain and came down to the valley. Needless to say , the rivalries between the 2 villages were nothing less than intense.
There had never been war between the two villages but each of them would show force by stationing the guards at the ends of the bridge and have regular patrols in the river. But they would also try to avoid each other so as to ensure that there would be no contact between them.
That ends the geographical lesson of Tohou area today.
Thank you.
