“Shhhh! Don’t scream , it’s me” , whispered Mrs Jamie.

In any case , I couldn’t make any noise as my teeth were busy knocking each other. I realized she was wearing an all white nightgown , looking like an angel. She came towards me and untied my hands and feet and pulled me up. I was too stiff to move at first but slowly came out of the cold room with Mrs Jamie acting as my walking stick.

“What happened to you? You know they thought I had …” , muttered I in my weakest voice.

“I will explain everything. Pls walk slowly. You are still in terrible cold state.” , said Mrs Jamie. She supported me for a while further before I was able to walk on my own. We made our ways the main lobby and to the dining room.

“But there is nothing to eat here.” , said I.

“Oh you think I brought you here to eat? No no , I want to show you something”, said Mrs Jamie as she pulled the red rope hanging at the corner of the room three times in quick succession. Then a familiar sound of a door opening was heard. That time , it was the wine cabinet in the middle of the room.

“So this is another door. How did you find out about this?”

“You remember the night the butler disappeared? I was pulling the rope after all of you had went back to call him and heard this sound. I didn’t make anything of it until the clock incident. So …” , explained Mrs Jamie in excited voice.

“So you came down again after we parted last night and tried to do the same thing again.” , I completed her thought.

“Yes yes! That was what happened. And I got lost” , giggled Mrs Jamie like a little girl. Was she aware that her irresponsible act nearly cost me my life? I doubt so. But there was I standing with someone everyone thought was dead and finding out another secret of the resort.

I was started to wonder if my mission was really to conduct experiment or find out about this place. In any case , I like everyone else was stuck on that island for good or for bad.
