“Lets go back to the dining room ,” said Mrs Jamie after a while. She must have thought of an idea there and then.

“You have an idea? , ” replied I. Curious as to what kind of idea that might be. If I were to give a suggest then , I would have said get everyone else , proved them my innocence and then showed them what we have found. But then again , she saved my life so I supposed she deserved to be heard.

“Yes , why not we , both you and I , go and explore the tunnel one more time? This time with .. this torch! , ” said Mrs Jamie while swinging a big torch from the table.

“This is … certainly a big torch. Where did you find it?”

“Oh I found it in the drawer of one of the tables in the kitchen while I was looking for something to break the handle , ”  replied Mrs Jamie.

“Shall we? , ” asked Mrs Jamie. I could plainly see she was so exited that her eyes were literally lighted up. Having no other choices , I nodded weakly. The effects of the cold room were starting to worn out but the residuals still remained.

With that confirmation from me , Mrs Jamie went over to the wine cabinet and squeezed herself into the hidden entrance once more. I soon followed and then both of us , and a big torch , were once again finding our ways in the dark tunnels.

“Wait , ” I stopped us both.

“We should leave a marker so we know where did we come from and able to retrace our steps this time , ” I continued , learning from the mistake made by Mrs Jamie the first time.

“Yes yes. How do we do that? , ” asked Mrs Jamie.

“Why not we leave a mark , say scratch on the wall with the torch every few meter? , ” I suggested.

“Good idea! Here is the first , ” said Mrs Jamie at the same time making a big visible scratch on the wall near the entrance.

We then continued.
