“Shopping?” asked Malee. She had absolutely no experience of purchasing things that are not needed, never mind luxury. All her life, she could only think of what to eat for the next meal, not what clothes to wear. And she wondered how could a girl like her be needed for accompanying Georgia, who had never worked a day in her life, for shopping. At that moment, she had nothing but a few sets of uniform given by Mary and no watches or jewelleries.

“Lets go. We will have breakfast with Georgia on the way.” said Mary as she led the way down the staircase to the out of the servants’ house. Malee could see a foreign car in front of the main house. Are they going in that? Just as they walked across the garden to the main house’s entrance, the main door opened and Georgia emerged from behind it. She was wearing a very tight shirt and skirt, both in white, which showed her excellent figure for all to see.

“You should cover yourself dear.” said Mary after inspecting Georgia thoroughly.

“its ok. We will go to beach and then I will change. I have it all prepared.” smiled Georgia as she opened the door to the back door of the car.

“You sit with her.” said Mary, turning to Malee while she went to the front of the car into the driver’s seat. Malee didn’t know Mary could drive. Malee wondered what else she didn’t know about Mary, who was just an another servant in the house. Malee went into the car and sat along side Georgia who was reading a magazine and chewing a bubble gum. Georgia looked at Malee and handed over a piece of wrapper paper to which Malee bowed and took with both hands.

“We are going out of the house Malee. I can’t have people bowing to me in public.” said Georgia. Malee stopped herself from bowing and just nodded. She was just like George in that aspect. Out of the house, George acted more like another boy on the road rather than a rich spoilt brat.

“Belt up girls.” said Mary as she reversed the car and drove off out of the house. Malee had no idea what she meant by that so after a while Georgia had to come over to Malee’s seat to pull across the belt.

“Is it your first time in a car?” asked Georgia.

Malee could only nod. After all, there isn’t much to hide there isn’t it? As she looked out of the shaded windows of the car, she saw many children begging and selling flowers on the street and remembered that she herself was one of them not so long ago. In fact, she recognised a few of those and wondered what would she said if they saw her in such a car.

The beach was an hour drive from the house and Male was familiar with it. In fact, it was the same beach that the professor asked her to draw the day before. She been there several times with her mates, selling flowers and drinks to tourists. Then the car turned right, away from the beach.

“Mary, the beach is that way.” alerted Malee to Mary who was waiting for the traffic light to turn to green.

“Who says we are going to that beach?” smiled Georgia.

Soon, the car arrived at a small gate and the guard, after seeing Mary, opened the gate. From there, the car drive along the forested area in a few kilometers to a large wooden villa. Mary parked the car in front of the villa and alighted, along with Georgia while Malee struggled to got out of the seat belt across her chest till Georgia came over to help.

Georgia went into the villa while Mary and Malee carried a few bags from the back of the car. Malee wondered why would anyone need that much for going to the beach but she would soon found out. Malee dropped the bags on the chair as she looked around the villa. It was much bigger once she came into the villa with the front door directly facing the sea. There was a large kitchen with several pots and pans and some tongs, which Malee assumed was for preparing the barbecue. Georgia came down from the upper floor with a much more revealing clothes and a large hat, completed by a sunglass.

“Lets go ladies. I had the drinks prepared last night so grab a few from the fridge.”
