“Malee, go see Georgia later. She will tell you what she wants from you.” said Mary, to which everyone stopped laughing, but Malee just nodded.  Having to meet Georgia in her room would be a nightmare for most of them, but for Malee, it wasn’t her first encounter with her new mistress. She wasn’t afraid, but she noted her legs shook. She quietly hoped nobody noticed her legs because she was wearing a knee-length skirt, a standard uniform for the servants in the house.

The mini-party lasted for a while before everyone parted their ways and made their way to their own rooms, leaving Malee behind in the kitchen. She started cleaning the plates when someone came behind her.

“Leave that for the rest.” said the person behind her. Malee knew immediately who it was, but she wasn’t expecting it in the servants’ house. She turned around and made a quick bow toward the person, her new mistress, Georgia.

“You could have called , I was about to come ..” stuttered Malee as fast as she could muster.

“I come here to meet Mary and stop that bowing.”said Georgia in disgust. Malee quickly returned to her standing posture and saw Mary walking down from the stairs towards them. Soon, both of them left the room, leaving Malee alone.
