Mary spoke first after a long silence from everyone. “George, we talk about this later but for now, why not go to the new mall and see how you can improve it?”

George nodded softly and walked away without looking at Malee whose eyes were on the floor all those time.

“You are always too soft to him.” said Georgia once George was out of earshot. “He needs to gain confidence slowly.” replied Mary to which Georgia didn’t argue back. Then she looked at Malee standing at the corner and said, “You would need to accompany him. Anything, let me know.” and left the place in a hurry.

“He is still young.” whispered Mary but she doubted Georgia would hear or understand her. Malee understood. Georgia’s mind was far more matured than her brother was. She was already controlling the house as it was even though George’s name was on all the documents. Of course, not that he would disagree with her.

“When would I need to go with George?” asked Malee. Her instruction was simple, follow George and report to Georgia. Inside, she was quite happy with having to go back to the mall again with George. It would be far better than having to stick around with Georgia around the house.

“I will let you know later. Go back and rest.”said Mary. Malee nodded and left Mary alone under the shades, staring at the fishes in the pond.
