“I see.” said the princess before turning aroun to George. “Then why are you not following your mistress?”

“Huh?” said both Malee and George in surprise. They didn’t see Georgia from outside the shop and they can’t see her after looking around in the shop either. So why was the question asked? Then, just as their mouths still wide opened from surprise, sound of someone coughing was heard from behind them. “Ahem” It was Georgia. She must have went into the changing room just before they had managed to push through the crowd to look though the glass.

“Geor .. young mistress.” corrected Malee quickly as she gave a slight bow towards Georgia. Why didn’t anyone from the main house told her Georgia had left the house, she wondered. As her personal maid, she was to be told of her movements. Georgia stared at her and then shifted her attention towards George who was still with his mouth wide opened to see his sister suddenly. Georgia shook her head in disappointment.

“This is Maia , I am sure you all remember her from the party we had last year.” said Georgia, introducing the princess to them. Malee remembered her as one of the most sensitive of their family members but George was still studying overseas then. Both nodded and Malee bowed again as she had been trained to do but George remained standing without knowing what to do. Malee looked up from her bow and saw everyone staring at George for it would almost be a crime not to bow to a royal personage , especially Georgia , who was a direct decendent of a pricess.

Malee smiled and put her hand over George’s cap and pushed the head down slight, saying “Sorry” at the same time. George was more amazed by it all than annoyed but Maia wasn’t amused. She turned to Georgia.

“Are your servants that rude?” asked Maia, pointing at George.
