“Let’s go and sit down there to observe the crowd.” said George, indicating an empty bench near the escalator. Malee nodded and followed George to the bench and sat down.<\/p>\n
“What do you think of the crowd?” asked George.<\/p>\n
“Its very crowded but something is missing.” shouted Malee over the noise made by the children running around.<\/p>\n
“What is missing?” asked George, raising his voice as well.<\/p>\n
“Why no music?” replied Malee. She had been thinking about it since she first come to the mall that morning. It was a brand new , sparkling clean mall but she felt something was missing. It was basically a building with shops. No souls.<\/p>\n
“Yes. Music. Decorations too. Looks bland.” murmured George to himself. “What kind of music should be playing?” asked George again.<\/p>\n
“Depends on the target customer. This mall has expensive shops but also fashion stores for youths and children at lower levels.” replied Malee, poining to crowd of children in school uniforms at lower levels across the mall. “Why not we ask them what they would like to hear by a survey? It is also a form of engaging the customers.” continued Malee.<\/p>\n
“Good idea. Survey. And prizes.” noted George as he took the phone from the pocket and dialed a number. “Come over to where I am now.” said George before putting the phone back.<\/p>\n
Soon, Malee could see the figure of the general manager running over to them in a hurry. George discussed with him the ideas proposed by Malee and the man nodded and took them down and left in a hurry.<\/p>\n
“There will be a meeting tomorrow. Why don’t you come along? Those are your ideas anyway.” said George, turning around to Malee.<\/p>\n
“But Georgia.” said Malee.<\/p>\n
