“Hello to both of you. What brings you here?” , asked Mr Thomson while rubbing his eyes.<\/p>\n
“We are so sorry to bother you Mr Thomson but we need to ask a few questions regarding what happened a few moments ago” , replied Mrs Jamie in her sweetest of voice.<\/p>\n
“Sure! Fire away! What do you want to know?”<\/p>\n
I stepped forward and continued the conversation. ” Well , Mrs Jamie was saying our butler served you the drink a while back?”<\/p>\n
“Yes. Oh yes. French Johnnie Walker 1955. Very good. You know they must have a good cellar down there. I was just asking for …”<\/p>\n
“Sorry to interrupt Mr Thomson but did you see him afterwards?” , I stopped his track of thoughts before he could continue.<\/p>\n
“Well , no. But I believe he was being summoned by another guest. I saw another glass of sherry on the silver plate he was using to bring mine.” , replied Mr Thomson.<\/p>\n
With that piece of information , we bade him goodbye and goodnight and left in more confusion than ever. If he was being summoned then by whom? He must known that person or else he wouldn’t have trusted him to bring the sherry. More importantly , that person must be one of the guests!<\/p>\n
We must have the same kind of thoughts for Mrs Jamie and I stared at each other for a long time after the door had closed. So the murderer , if they were being murdered , was one of us after all. But where could he , or she , had hidden the bodies? The butler was last seen not too long ago and it was after the doors and gates were shut for the night.<\/p>\n
That left only one place , the resort building itself.<\/p>\n
